As you can see, this is not my usual color pallette.  I walked into a coffee shop in Santa Monica, there I saw her sitting at a table..The patterns and that flower in her hair and the way she was leaning back in the chair,  it was as though she stepped out of one of my paintings.

"Privacy"

We've all had this experience, I saw this happening in a small boutique restaurant in Santa Monica.  Three women were sitting in the restaurant when one of the women's cell phone rang.  She got up from the table, took her coffee with her and sat far enough away from the others not to be heard.  This scene inspired me to paint, "Privacy".
